Randal
J. Dunlap will be exhibiting his paintings, drawings
and watercolors which represent a portion of an extensive
body of work done over the past 25 years.
Randal’s
specialty is on-the-spot work, whether it be a
simple sketch or an entire oil painting. In other
words, he rarely uses photographs to create a piece.
The theme of the show, “Candid Impressions—People,
Places and Periods,” partly demonstrates
his ability to capture people’s expressions
while they’re working or socializing. He
can be found regularly sketching musicians and
patrons at local coffee houses, particularly the
Daily Grind in Lockport.
Randal
is a current member of the Niagara Arts Guild and
a former member of the Niagara Frontier Watercolor
Society. He has won several awards for his drawings,
watercolors and paintings. He currently resides
in the City of Lockport.
