Kenmore Art Society's
Annual Fall Show
Downstairs Gallery
The
Market Street art Center will hosted the Kenmore Art Society's
Annual Fall Show from October 14th to November 11th. The show
encompassed various media, including sculpture as well as paintings.
The
show was judged by Sandra Bartz. Sandra is a graduate
of Buffalo State College (Summa Cum Laude). She has exhibited
in many shows including a solo exhibit at the Burchfield Nature
and Art Gallery and the institut da Duccio Buoninsegna in Siena
Italy.

Opening
Reception was on Sunday, October 14th, 4pm to 6pm. During
the opening awards were announced for first, second and third
place.
The First
Place winners, were Eileen White for her watercolor "Tryst" and
Thomas W. Lozinsky for his photo titled "Three Fungus.
Second
place was awarded to Pat Kraus for "Rainy Day
in Buffalo (watercolor)" and Patti Dewitt for "Anna's
First Book (pastel)."
Third
place, went to "Mr. Bojangles, (wood relief sculpture)" by
Tony DeCorse and "Still Life (oil)" by Mary Niedzialowski.
Honorable
mentions were also given to Maqrge Donavan for "Yellow
Iris," Monica Ljiljanich for "Vessel V," Tami
Holbury for "Balanced, Healing, Energy," Susan Holh
for "Buffalo Skyline," and Ken Kather, for "Self
Portrait."
