About the Artist
Cynthia Stramaglia has been a life-long resident
of Western New York. She was an art major in high
school. She has also studied at the Chautauqua Institute.
In recent years she has used her artistic inclinations
in her work with students ages 8-11 in her work as
a counselor. She has an appreciation for fairies
and angels and is also a big animal lover so those
themes are present in her art work. She is currently
owned by three very precious 3-year young cats at
her home.
Her work is primarily focused on use of pastels
and pencil but she also does work in acrylic paint
and sometimes using oils.

The
studio is often open on Summer afternoons during
the week from noon till 6pm; and during the Sept-June
school year months, I am most often at the studio
on weekends.
Other
additional hours in the summer months and by appointment.

Her
artwork can always be purchased through the
Art & Soul Gift Shop downstairs at MSAC,
and she welcomes requests for commissioned work
of your pets or a special "angel" in
your life.
