Market Street Art Center is located along the historic
Erie Canal in the City of Lockport, NY. We are across
the street from the Lockport Locks & Erie Canal
Boat Cruises.
This
former pulley factory, once owned by the Western Block
Company, now houses:
- 2
galleries: Downstairs Gallery and Upstairs Gallery
- Joseph
Whalen and Kathleen Giles Rotating Exhibit
- Art & Soul
Gift Shop
- over
20 artist studios (some which look like galleries
themselves!)
- and
several historic displays.
We
also have Art Studios for
rent and Gallery Space for
rent. Art
classes are available.

the Van Horn Mansion in Burt. The historical,
rumored to be haunted, mansion is hosting an exhibition
of local artists self-portraits with a reception from
